Start/end time ranges seem to be tied together (help)

Hi there,

In the edit menu (f2), the start time and end time seem to be tied together. In other words, turning the job wheel on either the start or end points makes the opposite match the specific time of the other.

So if I start with 1.1.00 - 1.1.00 and I set the end point to 2.1.0 the start point goes to 2.1.0 as well.

This makes it impossible for me to select a range of notes or events.

Can anyone help?

Thanks for the info. I'm curious, does this process also work for copying events? The instructions you provided are for selecting a sample in the trim page. I'm looking to copy a range of events/notes on a track in the edit page (f2). If the principle is the same, I'm stoked.

Right on. Yea, the start and end times seem to be locked together. If I change the end time to 2.1.0, the start time also changes to 2.1.0. Essentially, I'm unable to select a range of notes or events to copy.

I think I've followed the instructions in the manual. Might be a bug :/

I'll make a video this afternoon after work. But that screen you show in the manual is the exact page I'm talking about. F2 to Copy

My issue: The start and end times mirrow each other and can't be set independently from one another

this has never happened to me. make sure you are setting the end time greater than the start time.

unlikely to find such a prevalent bug on a 20 year old machine.
