Hi Everyone so I am trying to live record i.e. print audio from the multi track plugin directly into logic. I know how to create the blank track and bounce it but I'm actually trying to record all 8 tracks into logic while playing the sequence live like an old school mpc with the 8 out board. I have tried experimenting with sending the each track to a bus and recording the buses which kind of works but not really. I know to send each track to separate track in logic but its not working. I know its possible but there are no tutorials online on how to do this. I am trying to avoid going out of the mpc into a separate interface because that just seems silly. What am I missing??

I am running the newest software with the ren and a 2014 mac mini running logic pro x

Thanks! :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

1. Insert the MPC as an instrument-plugin in Logic. When you select it inside Logic, choose the plugin-version with multi outs.
2. Inside the MPC-plugin, assign each sound you want to be on a seperate track to its own output (eg 1-2, 3-4, 5-6, ...)
3. In the mixer in Logic, click on the small 'plus'-button on the instrument channel for the mpc-plugin. With this, you add more outputs to the plugin.
4. Assign each output of the plugin to a seperate bus.
5. Add audio channels and assign each bus to the input of one audio channel.
6. Record them!

That's as far as I've gotten but it doesn't really work. I cant really hear anything unless I am recording and the audio doesn't always come through. It kind of half works. Is there something I am not doing right?
