Hi All,
Looking for some help and advise here..... Do you know about the FL Studio SliceX regions when you chop samples?
What I'm after is exactly this but in MPC, for those who aren't familiar:
Let's say you have a sample, chopped so that you have 4 chops as below:
1---2---3---4---
Is it possible to tweak them somehow, so that when I hit sample/pad 1 (with note-on) the sample will play for as long as I'm holding it and it won't stop at the second sample start time, it will play all over to the end so that it will stop after 4th chop.
Hope this explains it all?
Currently, with note-on the sample will only play to the end of sample 1 or where 2nd sample starts.
I think this will be helpful to have it like this when playing drums.
A workaround for this is to load the original un-chopped sample 4 times and make the start at each sample, however, I will end up with too many room being taken by samples.
Any ideas?
