Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

About to purchase the Focusrite Scarlett Solo (2nd Gen) USB Audio Interface. But, I am concerned if whether or not this interface will be compatible with my MPC 2000xl. Looked for answers on google but couldn't find a for sure answer. I think it will work if I plug a line in from my two stereo outs into the MPC, but I don't know if the line in on the Focusrite is just guitar specific (due to the picture).

Would appreciate the help fam! Thank You

LINE is for mpc, INST is for guitar, There is no midi on the Solo, fail, don't buy it.

As mentioned, 2i4 is the better option. User guide link below suggests that each of the 4 outputs can be sent to your daw, good.

Thanks for the helping out the Navice MPC users as always Lampdog, big ups! :worthy: I'll definitely be getting the 214.

How do you track out your beats onto your computer then? I'm curious?

For me, my interface has both (RME UFX) firewire and usb. I can choose to either, but only one at a time. Some interfaces are only usb or only firewire.

isnt all the issues with usb a thing of the past (or thing of the present if you have a really old usb interface) ??

Currently I'm using a TC Electronic Konnekt 24D but I've upgraded to the UAD Apollo 8 firewire which I'm getting modded by Black Lion Audio right now.

I have never had USB or firewire problems with buffer set to 64 samples :)
