I can't remember if this started when I download 1.9.6 but after using the ren for about 10 minutes the ren starts emitting a digital crackling noise that is only remedied by turning off the Ren and MPC software. It always comes back though rendering my Ren useless. Has anyone else experienced this? I also have a Focusrite 1820 connected which I hope isn't conflicting with the Ren. The MPC software has been stellar IMO up until now!

Thanks but its definitely registered. It's not the white noise sound from unregistered software. 10 minutes is just the quickest that I've seen it happen.

Fair play. Better to get the easy fixes out of the way early! What are you using for the audio? The Ren or the Focusrite? Try using the other to see if it still happens.

Gotcha. It's works flawlessly when I use the focusrite but my setup requires more I/O so I have to use the Ren in conjunction with the focusrite. When the Ren first came out I had a motu interface connected to my computer and I had issues with the ren until I unplugged the motu as instructed my Akai support. He told me there were issues with the Ren when having 2 usb interfaces on the same computer(Windows). I figured that they would have resolved the issue by now. I don't think my hardware is malfunctioning as this is a different unit than the one I previously had problem with, it's a different pc also.
