The new screens. VGA out?

The new 2k/2kXL replacement screens; early on there was rumours of including a VGA out. Did anything come of this?

On my to do list is to do some wire chasing and figure out how the VGA is incorporated onto the MPC3000.
My Roland MV has VGA but that's a totally different beast.

Somebody's hacked the MV VGA out which is cool. The MV8000 anyway as it wasn't standard. Here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4QpUiGTP7Q

The MPC3000 VGA is a board and it looks like there's a controller on it plus a load of other shiznit so I guess not just a case of wiring. Shame
