Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

you cannot tell if it has a fat soound from listening to mini dv recording(camera) on a wild mic, problay mono from in a room of ppl with the bass playing throough a pair of monitors, then the whole file being compressed to be uploaded onto a website for streaming.
just because an asr 10 may produce dope bass doesnt mean tht any other equioment out there cant producer a dope or doper bass out there, so dont entirely go off of brand name, find wht you like in terms of equipment and make it work for you.

From what I can remember, they drawed that bass out of a module. Korg TR rack Im sure....

Scratch magazine they said they only use the MPC and the XV-5080 module.

Those are their tools of preference (to list)...What about mixers...DAW's....Etc

they use a proteus2000 !

Scratch also said it was a MPC2000 but it was the MPC2000XL, so i think Scratch was just guessin'

I Thought it was an ASR-10 too, by looking at the Floppy-storage on the left.
