Changing the VU meter from current program to master

When i changed the VU meter from current program to master output, i tried to export a sequence as a mp3, the sequence converted but there is no audio when i played the mp3. I changed the VU meter back to current program and exported the sequence again and it has audio. Can somebody else try this and tell me is it a bug that needs fixing with the VU meter selection or is it something that is specifically wrong with my mpcx?

The only VU bug that I know of is that it wont remember it's setting after reboot (controller mode)

Did you try to export a sequence to mp3 with the VU meter set to master?
