Dealer had the price wrong initially and a discount action at the same time. So while it costs €2199,- right now, I got it for a little more than 1600, talk about a bargain!
Coming from an RS7000 background the MPC concepts are quite different, but armed with the excellent MPC Bible I am getting my head around it. I bought it as a replacement for my trusted RS and for sequencing my modular stuff. This is the modular corner of my setup in the attic:

now that is a tasty setup... dammnn

My desk will be here next Monday and l will show you my new setup. I can't wait. My desk is sweet only $124.99 . Better than buying from Sweetwater $699 and mines look better.

Plus lm getting my Racing Car chair. Gotta be comfy when producing.

Did you build that desk? I love Zoar desk and Argosy desk.

Well, it has 8 cv/gate outputs, so I’ll be putting those to good use!
I’ll probably use on of the MIDI-outs as a clock for the DarkTime (on top of the TTSH) and use that as the main clock for all the modular stuff. That way I don’t have to sacrifice one of the CV-outs for clocking purposes.
The manual (and Bible) are a bit brief on info for the CV programs so that’s one thing I’ll have to figure out. But it looks promising, no regrets on selling my Octatrack, the X looks like much more fun!

Here's another desk l was considering. Its only $86

I had one from Ikea for $60 but l would have had to cut the hutch and l wasn't doing that.

Thanks! No, I didn't build it. I bought it from Sweetwater, though I did add the "rack" underneath the shelf. With the wings, I think it was under $200. Looks like you've got a nice one coming yourself!

Ill-Green wrote:Daayyam! That looks nice! Shelves of vinyl too Yo, I got those same AKG headphones.

Thank you, too! I'm happy with it. I've used AKG headphones for over 30 years! My last pair were with me for almost 25 'til I figured it was time to retired them. :)

Those shelves aren't just vinyl anymore; we (my wife and I) have gotten rid of most of our vinyl. I worked in radio and the music industry for years, so we had TONS (literally) of vinyl. Sold it off (the collectible stuff) and did pretty well with it! Hahahahahahahahaha!

The stand the Live sits on is this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005I ... UTF8&psc=1 I put a little extra lift under the rear of the Live to get it further up. Works pretty well!

But that modular 'n' X ... whoah! That's cool!

DUDE! The hell did you find that dope arse stand for the MPC Live?
I have one with the 4 fans but this looks way cooler and have air holes to keep the MPC cool. I just ordered it. Im in a new house and central air is the best. Dam you were holding out on us lol

Blue Monster 65 wrote:I just got that stand two days ago - I’ve been looking for just the right one for months!

And, yeah: central air is a must, but right now in Michigan a good furnace is the thing to have!
