MPC Live problem at controller mode

HEllo to everyone
I am a new owner of a mpc LIve 3 days now, and still reading and learning with the tutor bible the workflow.I am very pleased with the bible especially is for the beginners because is going step by step and is very easy to follow
I hoped that i will find the solution at the problem that i have but untill now i didnt so i decided to post here my issue.
SO...
i connect the blue cable the mpc live with my pc (windows 10)
I open the mpc live and i hear the blink at my pc that have connect with mpc and i can see also and the usb stick that i have connected to the mpc live.(so far so good)
I open the mpc 2 software at my pc first and tab the controller mode at the mpc live to connect.The screen says Looking for computer and searching but without any success.
But the mpc live have connected because while im trigering any buttons i see the same buttons at mpc 2 software to response.
So the problem is when I connect with the mpc live with my pc and open the mpc2 software and tab the external controller icon at mpc live,the screen still Searching for a computer without any success..What im doing wrong?

What you have done wrong is like so many have done even myself.

Take the blue cable out of both MPC Live and computer.

What you need to is uninstall the MPC 2.0 software from your PC.

Now what you want to do is install the MPC 2.0 software.
You will come to a window while installing and it will show:
1. MPC 2.0 software
2. Mpc Live software <-----pick that for the Live.
3. MPC X software
4. MPC Touch...

Being you have the Live you pick "MPC Live". This will install the software and the drivers for the Live to function in controller mode. You installed the wrong one. Follow the rest of the installation instructions.

Cut of the computer and Live and wait 5 minutes before you cut them on. While both machines are off connwct the blue cord. Turn on the computer then the MPC Live.
Always open the 2.0 software first before you try to go into controller mode. Now go into controller mode and it should work. Peace
