It’s exactly the same just new buttons and bigger screen. The screen is a big plus but mainly just for stand alone.

Cop one if you can get it cheap, only electron I still own and really versatile.

I absolutely adore the Analog Heat (have the 1st version), I never miss a chance to rave about it :)
I'm actually surprised I haven't seen any hip hop / boom bap demos with it...... It does wonders on vinyl drumbreaks, can make clean synths sound dusty, I run everything thru it when sampling and I also use it on the master. I really like the EQ & filters too. Low eq makes it boom without getting muddy, high eq brings out the highs without piercing. & the filters, wooh!

This is my only mixing & mastering tool right now. Mainly so I can learn it in & out, but it's def makin all my tracks sound better. Just recently started messin with the lfo's & envelopes.......another can of worms with those, still wrappin my head around it.

Been watching the Digitakt since it came out. At first I wasn't interested (I wanted a Machinedrum), but the more demos I watched I liked it more & more. Still thinking about maybe getting 1......... almost bought 1 recently but got an Op-1 instead.
