Sorry bro but that’s just sounds like a crazy workflow for just sampling. Will spent more time hooking up wires than anything.

My friend bought the rossum asimil8tor and sold it a few days later.... he’s a sp guy and wanted nothing to do with it. Said the sound wasn’t there and the work flow was crazy tedious.

That was his opinion, mine might be differnt but I don’t plan on getting one anytime soon. You May love it but buyer beware or the hype.

like it or not modular sampling is the future of music. I've seen videos in Facebook groups done with Assimil8r and the ER-301 that will make your head spin. The world is changing we gotta adapt or die...

I like modular for the filters, other than that. I'm not going to spend time patching cables. Unfortunately, Modular sample is cool, but it's not the future. It's all about fully integrated computer/audio system aka devices like the IPAD/TABLETS that just needs dedicated hardware.

The future musicians need gear that is accessible to them. Modular is not publicly accessible like an IPAD or Smartphone. With an IPAD you can make music and sample in the car, library, couch, classroom, pretty much anywhere.

Check out Ski Beatz new album "Switched on Bap" it's all modular. The artists on the Beatppl label all use modular gear, something is happening there.
