yes they give
in US i think u must keep all inside the luggage, in Europe is better you take it out from his bag as a laptop otherwise they get suspicious

Being flying thru Europe with it in the cabin inside an udg case without any problems, the problem is when you do beats sitting in the plane and everybody is looking like "what the hell is that guy doing with that weird computer" and sometimes even asking things, made interesting contacts though :P

I fly with it weekly.
Just treat it like a laptop and put it in a separate bin when going through security. Every once in awhile a TSA jerk asks you what it is but there's no issues. Also, I can't make beats on an airplane......It's not very inspiring or practical when you're crammed next to random people in a tin can hurtling through the sky at insane heights and speed...
