Hello!
I like to program basses/harmonies on my MPC and I've created a chromatic scale that stretches over four octaves. I found the default note layout being too confusing so I made my own.
It works quite well, and it'd be nice with some other scales like Cmaj, Cmin and other keys and scales like there's available on more modern music sequencing hardware and software.

Please share if you have anything like this.
If you'd like to use my program, just go to the pastebin link below, click download and save it with the file-ending .PGM and you can use it on your MPC too!

Cheers!

Hey Fly,

I don't have time to test it rn but you can probably paste the text into any text editor (like notepad) and save as a .pgm file.

What I do is use MPC Maid. It's an old but super convenient program to make MPC programs on a PC, and has a mode for the 500 layout. It even has a batch create mode where you just aim it at a folder. It requires Java (a separate program that used to be more common) to run on my computer.
