Very creative and relaxing. BIG departure from my normal but I can hear the good going on in it!

Is it just me or is the audio leaning to one side more than the other?

I second what Lamp, post. A different welcoming sound, with a nice groove to it. Good work.

Hi Lampdog & Heavie,

thank you for taking your time and listening and commenting on my stuff.
This means something to me.
Lamp you`re right. The L/R Levels are off.
There are two reasons for this. I get the feeling that my reel to reel
got some issues with the stereo input. One channel seems to have less energy,
even if the levels are the same. I´ll try to change the tape, maybe that will help.
But the main reason for the different levels is that I recently purchased a
mono compressor. So I messed around with it and did a quick A/B comparison.
Turns out that with the compressor the sum sounds much better, with more crispyness
and energy. I wanted that for the whole mix.
So I had to record the two channels separatly.
While recording, I sometimes adjusted the levels, because it would have clipped.
So I did it on the fly instead of tracking it all over again. Why?
Because I`m sometimes stupid, unpatient and don´t care enough :)
As soon as I get the second compressor, I´ll upload a more proper version
with less different levels. I know, it´s not a pleasure for the ears,
but maybe it adds,in a weird way, some analog feel and seems overall more vivid?
The compressor I was talking about is the LA2A Clone from Klark Teknik.
It´s a bargain and sounds great.
Again, thank you for listening. Much appreciated.
