(not mine, but released on my label)

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to present to you "one time for your mind", the debut hip hop LP by my good friend who goes by the artist name of ewon12bit. I was happy to add a sprinkle of my mastering pixie dust to the sound of this record.

PREORDER VINYL:
https://www.diggersfactory.com/vinyl/22 ... -your-mind

This is a Diggers Factory project, so you can ONLY buy it from that link. Campaign ends on Feb 22, which is the release date for digital. Everyone ordering the record will be sent digital download files on that date.
We're releasing this under Phatventures, which is the brainchild of me and ewon.
I'm biased of course, but I'll say that IMHO this is some of the finest contemporary instrumental hip hop there is currently out there. That is why I'm happy to be doing Phatventures with ewon.
I feel this record is easily a future classic.
Get it while you can.

Listened to the project yesterday. Interesting use of the random acapella snippets. One thing that I kept wondering about is - does ewon use any Alesis reverb units?

What's good Rich? Actually I had midiverb 2 but it hasn't used in this project. I used Lexicon Model 200, Lexicon PCM 70 and Roland SDE3000 as main effects for this project. The interlude I ran through the Lexicon 224. These are not the plugin versions.

This is DOPE and definitely cypher material. Listening to it makes me wish i was 19 again. The guitar chops on emcees are perfect. My favorits are skyline rising, emcees, and redrum. :smoker: Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for responding man. Reason why I asked was that some of the drums totally reminded me of the sound the Alesis midiverb series gave off. But I see here you're flossing hard with the Reverb units man. The cost of those units alone far exceed what the majority of people on here have paid in total for their gear.

Was just helping someone a few days back that found a protoype SDE3000 for $200 which was pretty cool. For anyone else reading, you can find a few of the same presets from the Lexicon 480L and 224 on the LXP-15 which is going for an affordable enough price. Or you can ignore me and use your plugins just the same.

Anyway Ewon man, good project. Hopefully the sales from the vinyl drive a second release as well.

Didn't meant to floss, you asked and I told. The 224 was in the studio where I made this project, the rest of the stuff is my own. Model 200 and SDE3000 were not in a good condition when I got them so I fixed/restored them by myself and put them into good use. Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate this!

No no, there is nothing wrong with flossing at all. I was just responding to the fact you have some serious reverb units there, that's all!

All the best to you with your work moving forward!
