Hey ive had the MPC LIVE for a week and it's life changing and has made music for me fun again after being on fl studio for a year.

One issue I have is the filtering of the highs and/or lows of samples.

Like I was under the impression you can filter out highs of a sample to make a bassline like on older MPCS...

The MPC LIVE software gives you preset options but I find them lacking..

Maybe I'm spoiled from the Parametric EQ on FL 12..

Is there a way I can dial in my own eq settings of a sample? I haven't been able to find a tutorial addressing my complaint.

Of course! Open the EQ, pick high/low/band pass and adjust the cut off frequency.

Okay I didn't realize you could tweak the fx settings..

Thanks for telling me about Air Para

Was able to filter out the highs of a sample, copy the sample and made one program the bassline and the other program has some vocal hits on top.
