It mentions that the file itself needs to have an imbedded tempo, how do we know that?
any loops that im playing in the audition browser do not appear to be syncing or warping in anyway

i agree .. what i mean is ... 2.4 seems better because it DOESN'T have the stuff in 2.5. I didn't upgrade, but the issue is, now down the road when they implement stuff that we really need, we will be stuck with the 2.5 stuff as well.

Eyalc wrote:Regarding future development, you have to be careful with these guys - history shows that. You have to ask very specific questions that can't be dodged or intentionally kept vague. Yeah they say there is a roadmap of features - but did anyone clarify that they will be implemented in THIS standalone generation? Remember, that's what happened to the Ren owners not more than 2 years ago. Sure the features made it to the software, but if you want to use it, you need a new standalone. Nothing wrong with that, just saying though - be careful how you interpret their claims about their development roadmap. For years these guys had a reputation of misleading, false truths (MPC 3000 circuitry) and abandoning half-baked products (turntable, 5000, headphones, rhythm wolf). Am I the only one here that was around for all of that??? LOL
