Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000

Hey I was just wondering- is there any way to save samples from a Mac and download them onto the cf card formatted for the mpc 2000xl? I remember my friend doing it with his s2000 back in the day with SCSI, and I know some of the other samplers out these days can do that with SD cards.

This has been answered here before, use the search function at the top.
Wal Martian wrote:Zip disk format must be FAT (format the disk using the MPC Disk screen first)
.wav files must be 16bit 44.1kHz
File names must be 8 characters or less
Connecting the disk to a Mac might put hidden files on the disk making it unreadable

I don't see any problem there. I load samples from my mac to the CF card via a USB card reader, then insert the CF card in the MPC2000xl and I can load up the samples in RAM. I have no problem of any sort.
I also use the mac to backup y CF cards.
I have an old macbook with Mountain Lion 10.8.

It only works if the card was formatted on the MPC itself.

i dont think this is accurate. as long as you format to FAT (sometimes called FAT16), it will work.
