2nd track to only (cc) modulate a Program

Can you (like on the 4k) use seperate tracks to modulate sound/drum programs?

So track1: is midi note data
Track: 2 &3: CC for program on track1

Maybe this is only duable due to multimode.. (?)

Only if on the same midi channel per instrument - if I understand your question.
No multimode for recording per se in MPCX. If the instrument is multimode capable (the Korg M3 is able to do so) you need to record channel by channel, and replay all when the M3 is in multimode (so called Combination mode).

- I am not missing multmode recording, as I do it piece by piece anyway. But some people have different ways of working....
