Logic Pro

does anybody know how to connect a Akai MPC Studio to logic?everytime I connect it it says there can only be one mpc at a time I think its because I have the software downloaded plz help I'm new to this

When you connect the MPC do you have an instance of the MPC software open and Logic open. If you do when you select the MPC in Logic, Logic will give this warning. If there is something else going on, I'm not sure based off the amount of information you've given.
