Premier Rocks the OS Upgrade?

i read something like without the os upgrade each time you hit the pad it doesn't cut itself..

so whatsup with this? does preme have the OS upgrade or can he make shit like goldyn chyld without it?

How much he uses the 60 sampler is up for debate. He uses the 60 950 combo, so the cut off stuff could be handled by the 950, or have a different blank pad cut off the other one (if that feature exists on the old OS, I don't know.

my guess is his drums are 60 and other shit is 950.

If you have a 60, get the upgrade you won't regret it, regardless of what Primo rocks.

word no doubt.. is route 66 the best place to check for upgrades? i know the question was asked a couple pages back...

seriously everyone should get the 3.10 upgrade .I was so f *** frustrated with the 2.12 ( i had a 2000 xl for 4 years before ) , i can't live without the mono thing but that's true if you consider the 60 like a lambda drummachine you don't need it . if only people fom akai would do upgrades like that ( 2000 xl multimode filter like the ones from the s 6000 ) but there is so much people waiting for upgrades ( Z4 Z8 ) that it is just a dream .the real upgrade of the 2000 is the 1000
