I bought a 4gb CF but my mpc 1000 wong detect it only through usb to pc will it detect the CF . Can someone help please.

Have you formatted the cf card in your mpc? I believe you hit the mode button then pad 02 "load". Press the window button and there should be an option to format your cf card. make sure you have anything important on the cf card saved somewhere else because you will lose it when you format the cf card.
