I didn't. I might now though. lol

Hahaha - I did one at the end of last year, but I don't do it often enough. Before then it had been 5 years or so. Had all kind of junk in my VST / AU folder. This year I've collected and tried a bunch of them. I've been going through them recently. Some are worth the drive space they consume. Some not.

I do a three back ups, wipe the drive, reinstall everything, then do a secondary mirror back of drive just in case the drive develops issues. This helps to avoid any software conflicts. That's what I was saying about free VST and VI, they can cause conflicts, crashes, hang up, and everything else.

I had a paid compressor and eq that would cause issues, if they were loaded in the same project. However the issue was only between those two, they worked great with everything else. But I could not use them together. Soooooooooo I got rid of both of them. If you can't reinstall all your software in under 45 mins, you have to much stuff on your computer.

Make a mirror backup of your computer or use a NAS or SAN or do more deleting and less saving.

Is there any Electric piano that is better than Waves Electric Piano 200? It seems like Waves has the best!

Spectrasonics Keyscape Library
https://www.spectrasonics.net/products/ ... ibrary.php
Price: $399

Lounge Lizard Electric Piano
Here's the bundle: https://www.applied-acoustics.com/session-bundle/
Price: $49 limited sale.

You can use a free VST or your existing Electric Pianos and create an effect chain, if you don't mind the work around. In the long run, you can create something unique and special to your sound. Unless, you're looking for that exact EP sound.

My Rhodes arsenal, in order of which I use the most:

Applied Acoustics Lounge Lizard - this is my favorite EP, by far, and to my ear - way better than the Waves product.

Gospel Musicians Neo-Soul Keys - this is my second favorite - some REALLY good EPs, with a neo-soul vibe

Spectrasonics Keyscape - This is my least favorite, but if you’re into knob turning to create something unique, this is by far the most flexible.

For me, Lounge Lizard and Neo-soul keys are my #1 and #2 options. Keyscape is a distant 3rd. And my opinion based on my ear and production needs of course. I know some folks that wouldn’t use anything other than Keyscape, and that’s cool too.

Yeah, thank E and Charles I am glad I asked. Lounge Lizard, does that work on an Offline computer? Where I can down load on my laptop and then bring the file over to my offline and use a serial without going through iLok or a dongle? I am looking at that. I heard that on your song E, please let me know. I'm going to get the Gospel Musicians Pure Platinum 2 joint, that is great for RnB. I won't go the Key Scape route. I have True Pianos and my Eastwest Pianos to use. :)

DROBO S for the win.

4x WD RED in each bay.

NAS given to me when someone went out of business and has held me down since 2014.
