Could we talk about the new MPC one?

I want to be offended, but I'm not (I don't squarely fit any of these) so this is actually kind of funny.
I thought about it for YT purposes, but understand that it won't benefit my long term strategy as a bump in a road to show tech that isn't really new.
I thought about adding it the collection of stuff I have, but I already have too much and am going through downsizing.
I love being part of the conversation, though there isn't much here to talk about.
I don't think a professional will buy it to make money on it, it serves no function to them, hell it serves no real function to me and I'm between hobbyist/pro (making little money here, trying to grow my business)

But I don't see anything wrong here (except the battery part, battery us GOOD for some of us, especially those with little kids who need to relocate to have the peace they need to work)

We have One for kids, Live for young musicians, X for adults.
All the family is satisfied ahah

...no haha. I'm saying having a battery is great for parents to be able to work in remote locations, off the predatory trails that kids often frequent. For me, if my kids know I am in the studio, they WILL bother me (I currently can't lock the basement door). I can strap up the Live real quick and redeploy pretty much anywhere. I don't have to mess with wires or anything, just the headphones and the MPC. There is also work, I get an hour for lunch, I can just pull it out and start working without having to find power. Life is too busy to expect to always be able to work in the studio (honestly I spend more time out of my studio working than in it).

You should be good then. New comers who can't afford $1,000 can get this on a 4 to 5 low easy payment plan. I look at the MPC One sequencer is tight. My live sequencer is tight!

Had the live when it was very new on the market with an early firmware. Sold it, got an electribe (which wasn't really powerful and muted notes when too much was going on), sold it, got an iPad with beatmaker 3 for making music but that software crashed waay too often.

I often thought the live was the best I ever had for making music, so I am definetly getting the new mpc, super hyped.

No doubt. I always loved how the Studio Black looked, almost got that but the Live came out. Petty Cash put me up on the Live.

Enoch, dang, you have the same exact DAWs I have and use. I freakin love both of them, I just gotta get me new Computer outta the box and use it LOL I been had it for months now, it's more powerful and I will handle Studio One better, cause Presonus has to handle their DSP much better. But they have done a better job, I just need to start my new computer.

If you really want battery powered, you can always get AC Power Bank and call it a day.

Plus a power bank serves little function - at that point you might as well walk around with the cord and look for an outlet as you are carrying extra stuff. Not a complaint, just saying I like my standalone having a battery, heck its a tablet anyway and I ahven't heard people complaining about the batteries...so I mean...why not :Wocka-Flocka-Face:

Unfortunately, they will once they have to spend $200+ to replace it. Especially, when they buy a used one and its not under warranty.
