A plant? Haha - yeah, won’t be buying one.

About the MPC One, saw a couple videos online reviewing it. Looks like a good entry level MPC. Hope they evolve the Live a bit to marry it to the X and One aesthetic.

ok so I just picked up this card:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H9 ... UTF8&psc=1

am I a fool for getting such a fast spec and large capacity card for the One?

Reason: Since there is no internal SSD I can use, id like to have a large capacity SD card and just have a one stop shop for the files to live on instead of having to swap out a bunch of smaller capacity cards...

You are fine, also gives you some future proofing if streaming ever gets added to the units.

I was reading on other forum that disc streaming could be difficult to make on Mpc because of the motherboard that has no direct sata connection and so any internal hd or ssd has to pass through an usb connection.
Honestly, I am really no expert and I ask if anyone has the knowledge to clarify this better.

Before it was PLOCK and now it's Disk Streaming. The #UpdateVirus continues to evolve.

No seriously, someone put the specs of the motherboard saying it has no sata direct connection and so the hd just works as an usb drive.
If I got it, this means that the speed of the flow is usb speed and that could not be enough.
I say again, I am really not expert.
Do you know if that makes sense or as you say is just someone saying bullshits and pretending to be expert?

I'm no Gastroenterologist, but I think the "someone" is suffering from a case of Mouth to Anal Disorder. If a SP-303 | Dr. Sample - BOSS can do it, I'm sure the MPC One, Live, X can as well.
