s2800 Backlight Inverter Question

I've just changed the backlight on my s2800 and still no dice.

Would I be correct in assuming that is is the inverter that needs replacing (I'm guessing yes)?

Does anyone have a link to where I can get a replacement inverter. I'm located in Australia.

Can you be more descriptive of what the problem is?

No backlight, simple as that. I purchased the 2800 with the intention of using the screen for my MPC3000 (which ismissing a line or two) but decided to hold off. The backlight for the s2800 was never working from the beginning, so I assumed it was the backlight that was dead.

With my 3000 when my backlight stopped working it turned out to be the inverter, so I'm assuming that now I have replaced the 2800 backlight, and it's still not working, that it will be the inverter that's dead. I should have checked first, but it's no big deal because the new backlight cost little.

Looking for somewhere cheap to get a replacement inverter. Cheers.
