Just wanted to practice vectorizing an actual object and try to get the shadows and details right (sort of). It's the best way to learn for me at least.

That's what I kinda figured (learning the program and how to get a good design made with it). How about designing a mock-up of your dream kit? Taking the best from your favorite gear and laying it out in the software? That's where cool new designs come from.

My comment was only on the selling prints of it. I would love to see your original interpretation of the MPC, exampling why you've design it a certain way. :nod:

The illustration looks nice & quaint. You have taken an image of an MPC live, computerized it and made almost an exact replica of an MPC live in vector form, come on an akai forum to show it off and figure out what font they use & possibly sell it for profit...
