So by your logic, current music producers prefer to play games and use tik tok over making music. Got it, thanks. ;)

making accessory for those games?

Games. GAMES. < Your words. ;) These are not professional music producers.

Didn't you just buy an MPC One? Or do you even own an MPC?

CharlesRandolph wrote:Nevertheless, lets get back on topic with the MPC Live Mk II. I can't wait to hear that speaker.

We've been on topic, Charlie. You're the one who thinks tapping into game consoles is somehow a viable business for Akai. LMAO

If I bought a MPC One that would mean I own an MPC. But yes I own others.

Hey you're right. I guess there is nothing else to say, since the MPC LIVE MK II isn't out.

Chill guys, or the mkiii might be MPC gameboy modded for chip-tuning...

I mean, they already come with a SPKR

That's right they do mod, Gameboys for chiptunes. Check out the video below, it could be done using any MPC. It's amazing what can be done, with a little imagination, know how, and some positive thinking. Now to see if they have anything with CV outs to a Gameboy. Which would be perfect for the MPC LIVE MK II, One, or X.

For me as a Pro music maker l will not have games intertwined with my money making. I have the original XBox and still rock Dream Cast  with the the original 100 games that can be copied. I use this as down time to relax, and l keep both separated.
When l do music l am dearly focused, so much so in the major stoo l kick people out because l don't like sonic human interference! I focus very hard and have no time to play especially when a client is concerned. I pride myself on professionalism and giving the highest quality possible.

Akai needs not to blend with a company as far as a box is concerned , but Akai should take our ideas and make the supa MPC. And Akai will make the money.

" Akai should take our ideas and make the supa MPC"

Seriously! They could make the dopest machine ever that would make everyone happy with just a few slight adjustments and additions... but they're like "naw, lets scramble our program around 4 different machines that cant do 100% of anything... & throw a speaker on the new one."

So how do you write cues for video games, if you don't play it? Everything from Level Music, Combat Music, Main Themes and so on. When I work in that field, it's always easier to compose, when I can play it.

It all depends on the culture of the company. Current, Akai Pro makes low and mid level machines, but they need that GOLD STANDARD MPC with all the bells and whistles. Blow it out and shut up all the critics. So the only thing they can complain about is the price.
