Hi,

I got this stick off ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/256MB-Sampler- ... XQKq5R5Fu4

I plugged it in, nothing. 272 Mb still/ is there an extra step im missing or?? It is Pc133 168 pin Memory, and I followed the instructions off this guys youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2yr31tYHxo8

One thing I noticed about mine, I cannot get it to "Snap" , there are little holders at the end of the ram slot and they look to be loose / out of place. I tried fiddling with a little paperclip but I don't even know what position the black little holder is supposed to be in.

That is what locks Ram stick into place.
Push both plastic tabs outwards. The Ram should click into place when seated correctly.

If the two ram sticks are not the same specs, it can also cause issues due to timing differences and can create unwanted problems such as not seeing memory or worse corruption of memory. Usually I will buy these in pairs to avoid these kinds of issues, especially in older hardware such as the 4K.

Yep, installing one stick that's clocked @ 100 mhz and another @ 133 ain't gonna get it.
