Speeding off and coffee goes flying and you witness the WHILE thing from the rear view mirror.

Let’s hope when you purchase that XKey you DON’T put the XKey box on the rooftop while opening your door and speed off.

I’ve lost a few good coffee mugs and a bag of fast food this way.

That was a BAD morning. I was bringing just the iPad to work that day, wanted to study synthesis instead of work on music, I was about to get in the car when my daughter said she wasn't buckled in, so I put it on top of my car, along with my lunch which was in a mason jar - and buckled her up. Drove off. Getting ready to leave my neighborhood, I have to turn and gas up to about 45ish, saw a break and gassed it, heard this noise and saw my lunch fall of the side, then like 1 second later I realized the pad was up there too (iPad Pro the first big one), I looped back into where I live to circle around and all found the bent up pieces of the ipad spread all over the road as the trucks behind me demolished it.

The other thing that sucks was I had about an album's worth of material saved on there that was going to extract THAT weekend, and my icloud is always full with dumb memes and photos because apple can't prioritize and I suck. I tried reviving my two favorite tracks, I remembered the main idea, but they just weren't the same.

Aww ****, sorry to hear that.

Coffee mugs and fast food wouldn’t hurt, but THAT, would hurt my feelings right there.

@, I was joking about the rollup, I’ve tried 2 diff ones a while back, the tactile feel, key action was horrible imo, don’t do it.

Tip: Take the ipad to an APPLE STORE, they could retrieve your data from the broken iPAD.

Peace everyone , l just got in. 7:30 am from the major stoo. Funny story involving the MPC live.

So l got hired to do drum programming for a producer for an artist up and coming. The reason l got hired was because a 25 year old didn't know how to properly use his MPC Live  .

The studio engineer told the manager l am a beast on the drum programming. So the producer's manager came met me and we got in with the bizz. Now they had a producer who was suppose to do the drum programming but the producer said his programming is off. Now they paid dude basically for nothing. So they needed a bonified programmer.

So the other programmer pulls out his MPC live and started playing his drums to the producer's track. It was a horrid mess. I cringed  The music was nice but it just needed drums. I told him there is no way he is on the MPC live and his drums sound distorted and out of synch. He had the nerve to say that's my style. He had an attitude when he said it. I just turned aound pulled out my MPC live and he was in shock

I unplugged his crap and plugged mines in and it was fuc***in go time! I setup my drums on the pads and l told Jim turn on the music. I listened like 8 bars then told jim stop the track. I got the bpm and went in. Took me 10 seconds to kill it. Gave it nice levels. Exported it for Protools. Hit play and it was ova! The manager was noddin that head and snappin that neck. I hit stop and looked at homie. He asked how did l do that and so quick, l said
SKILLS.

Wanna be a smart ass l will show you better than l can tell you. The manager called the producer who is also 25 and told him he needs to get there stat! He shows up 30 minutes later, l played the track and he was like, "YO YOU THAT DUDE YOU MADE MY TRACK HARD!" The manager told the other programmer he needed to intern under me. I put a stop to that. Told them lm not in the business of teaching lm ready to work.

At that moment the producer said, you need to be on my team. Long story short dude got let go, we got out those split sheets and it was go time. So l played a few of my tracks l did with the females and they were like dammm. The manager didn't know l could produce too. Jim told him he asked for a drum programmer. So the manager slid me a few duckets. I was in the stoo all nite putting ideas together and working on my stuff. I had fun, and once l get that CME its gonna be on and poppin!
