New User Dumb Question: Can MPC 2500 record unquantized?

Can MPC 2500 record unquantized? How do i set this up?

Set T.C. to None I think... if I remember correctly. Specific steps do vary depending on what OS you are using though.

Err... also meant to note... I believe it is to 96ppqn. So at the end of the day there will be some quantizing whether you want it or not. Just not hard to 1/4, 1/8, 1/16th notes.

If you really need a sound to land at a specific spot with a higher resolution... you'll want to record to audio.
