Has anyone successfully installed this drive using OS 1.2??
I am having issues with 2 aspects of the installation:
1) How are people physically installing the drive? None of the screws matched up so I rigged up a series of screws to "hold it in place" hoping that someone would have an answer to this.
2) After getting it to hold still, I turned on the system. It automatically saw the ATAPI drive, but it did not show the samples that I had loaded to the drive. It wouldn't even show the names. I also tried saving a sample to the drive and it wouldn't "Do It."
I've seen a request on another post that is asking owners of the MCD version to kindly open up their machine and show how Akai has this drive installed. This would be extremely helpful.
