That is true but there's a reason, the sampler, polyphony, and memory was sub par and the Midi Interface was the meat and potatoes of the machine. Pairing it with a rack mount sampler was the best way to maximize the full capabilities of the MPC 3000.

When the S5000/6000 drops that really changed things, but the full setup was expensive for sure. :nod: Did you ever have the MPC 3000 and the S6000?
