Hi everyone!

I'm using a midi controller via usb to control mixer settings in the MPC Live and in an external synth which is connected to the midi out 1 of the MPC in standalone mode.
I have a plugsynth on track 1 (Sequence 1), so i use one fader of the midi controller
mapping to both Program Volume and MIDI Track Volume
Now the thing is that everytime i change sequence the volume makes a jump when i touch the fader.(This is because i saved let's say sequence 2 with the volume at the top and i'm using sequence 1 with low volume)

Is there a way to (let's say) "chain" the volumes or channel mixer stuff? Everytime i change sequence i have to reset my midi controller and the sound change.

Hope someone can understand what i mean...
Regards

Maybe because you want to control two different parameters with one knob, it acts weird..

Thanks for your answer, no even if i don't use the controller everytime i change to another sequence every channel volume goes to the position where it was saved. It's no good for live performances. Is there any Akai people in here?

It‘s normal behaviour of MIDI. You can see this in the list editor. The midi volume begins in the new sequence where you left it in the last sequence. Don‘t record any midi volume and you are fine.

Can also go into each sequence and delete automation of that event.
Maybe accidental automation that’s been discussed several times here?

I start an empty project without the controller, just put down the volume in track 1 - sequence 1 and when goes to sequence 2 - track 1 has another volume level.
I think there's no way to chain those volumes, hope they do something in next updates...

I bought an Mpc LIVE to make a LIVE SET and still not working :?

I am experiencing this. It doesn't reset if you delete automation cause it's not counted as an automation. No information either in the editor list. If you touch the midi fader, well your f...cked until you transform your song in a big sequence then no volumes changes can occur this way

Can one of you send a whole project to someone (anyone with a Live down to help?) so it can be looked at in detail?

No, each track has its own program.
It behaves like this even from scratch

Any clue on how to make a set live on this machine?

Is there a way to make a full set on just one sequence?
