Newbie here.
Have the MPC Bible 2.8 and decided I want to use the software on my PC, then transfer to MPC Live for gigs.

What video, not manual, I tried reading and videos have a bigger picture that works better for me, can I watch or buy that explains the software step by step.

Saving the Bible for when I go to stand alone mode live.

Thanks from a new Akai addict. :worthy:

No one likes using the software (on a computer). Most enjoy using the new gen MPC's in standalone more than anything - hence the wealth of videos all over YouTube covering MPC Live, One, and X use. You're going to have a tough time finding MPC Software tutorials in abundance that feature 2.8.

Okay, how about earlier software that looks the same and covers the basics?

Thanks for your reply too.
I’m trying to get going with this new way of programming, but like you said it’s more for making beats and using hardware.
But great idea using software, then transfer to hardware once mastered.

Thanks

the software is pretty much the same when using in standalone. if you follow the bible you can rock both. not sure what else you trying to get at.

Watch those. They're for the free version, but feature-wise it's a match for full 2.8:

Thanks.
I might even use Beats as the Live is just my Drums and pre recorded vocals where reverse and LoFi are needed, can’t swing that Live.

I play all the other parts on an 8 Zone Controller.
I use a Behringer CAT and SE-02 for 808 Bass slides and synth bass, sweeps, etc.

Great suggestion, exactly what I needed.
Way too many YTube vids, all have a purpose I can sift through later.
After 30 minutes of having to slap my face to stay awake this saved me hours.

I never thought to search for this.

Cheerz, be back when Im more worthy.

A big double thanks to the forum.

I’m rolling deep with dual monitors too.
A big 32 on HDMI, and a small AOC USB powered 15” for my DSP FX/Mixer project window.

I can open up enough windows to avoid interruptions.

Life is great

Thanks again
