My barroom LAB got a SP1200, MPC 3000 and a Live and now the One.
Only had to come down to say how much I like the ONE.
Thought it would b another dust catcher... lil crack pads god me addicted.
All I want to say - it’s a love it it or hate it thing. And yEaz - really loving it.

Only wrote this because - its still not about sampler sequencer -
and not the machines you are using- it’s about how you use it
Seen enough dudes with not a single dope beat on there SpS what ever.
But hey - is why not. 6 years FL Studio before I got my game tight

I like MPC One less every day. Mainly due to software limitations and bugs. This device is good only for creating drum patters. Certainly not for sampling sounds seriously :|

For example, if you want to make a similar beat, it is not technically possible to put the vocal sample under the drums and warp it without clipping etc.





If you want to sample something from YouTube, it's better to download mp3 file to pc, upload it to usb and than edit it. Sampling through the jack connectors produces 50% noise in the output file. Nice sampler.

Like I said, It's the user not the machine. :nod: Now if you said you wanted to produced song and mix it in Dolby Atmos then I would agree.

Then you either need to find a better video, or buy better cables, or buy a (decent) audio interface.

Just saying... it's totally possible to sample from youtube or any other media output on your PC or Mac using a virtual audio cable (VB-audio works great on Windows) and connecting it to your Live or One in Controller Mode (MPC Software).......

Of course it is possible. But make a comparison. Convert YT music video to mp3 and copy via USB to MPC. Then try to do the same with the jack cable.
Even when recording quietly and using normalization, it does not reduce noise.
Whenever I'm sampling, I'm faced with this decision and always opt for a noise-free online conversion.
