Didn’t know shyt about synths decades ago. Know a lot more now. Emulated patches to see how others did it, learned what diff knobs, mods do.
I’ve tried the first few on IOS Model D app midi’d to Kronos2, works out great.

Here’s some patches I’ve seen recently

Another insightful post from the wizard himself:
I am not a synth guru so I rec analog synths where you can save your patch [new korg/novation stuff]. I was gonna get the original arturia minibrute back in 2016 until I found out you had to use patch sheets to get back to a sound. Much respect to the OGs banging out beats with old analog synths & patch sheets. I think is where the west coast shines . . . . . . .

Analog, Moog, PATCH SAVING were my reasons for choosing the Subsequent-37. I really wanted to be able to save shyt! Maybe others can post up some patch sheets from other gear for people to try.

Not a synth guru either but I enjoy messing with them!
