There are very easy ways around this if done correctly. They could redesign it so if you chose the "Elastique Pro (Best Sound)" option, the audio is warped/rendered in the lower quality "MPC" setting during playback as a realtime "preview", while rendering the warped audio in high quality in the background - and fading the high quality audio back in when it's done rendering. The MPC's multi-core CPU could surely handle an operation like this in the background. Hell, Propellerhead Reason was doing this almost 10 years ago with Record. The technology is there, for sure.

Yeah this is how it should have been done from the beginning.

I wonder - assuming the linear arranger is coming to MPC, is clip launcher also a given?

Obviously Force is much better equipped for this, with separate 8x8 pad matrix + screen and MPC would likely have to use the screen only, but that'd still be sweet! But to be perfectly frank, I'd be more than happy if they just added Tracks that can be linked/aliased across multiple Sequences and a better visual representation of arrangement in Song Mode. And obviously the synths - at minumum Hype, Drum Synth and FMX :)

They need to update the CV tools and allow us to have more flexibility with CV. We need to be able to select clock out as well as clock divisions and create poly instruments. Also since it can do CV a tuner would be nice.

Not sure I’m understanding.. we can already launch Clips on the MPC, and record them into Sequences/Songs. I would imagine the Arranger would treat them just like they’re treated on the Force.

It’s called a laptop . Just buy one and give it to a skilled technician for dual boot to a stripped , unsecured , static Win10

Still , softer than MPC One pads
But seriously, for now , a used mpc touch or (speculating) next Akai controller would be better option than an overpriced M-PC hybrid
