2 questions

1) i have a cheap pair of logitech usb speakers.. they plug into my pc via usb..
there are no ins/outs on the speakers themselves.. just straight usb connection to pc usb port..
i'd like to use those speakers with the mpc one..
is there some way to make this happen?

2) i'd like to sample into the mpc one directly from youtube,
as i'm playing a youtube video, on the internet, from my pc desktop..
is this possible? a direct sample in, as the video is playing?

thanks

1. USB speakers act as their own audio interface. Currently the MPC line doesn’t support USB class compliant audio interfaces.

2. There’s multiple ways to do this.. the easiest would be to use your smartphone and run the YouTube app on it instead. Run an audio cable from your headphones out on your phone to the line in on your MPC and sample away (make sure monitor is on in the sampler). Or do the same from your computer using the (presumably) integrated audio on your PC. Or use the MPC Software while in Controller Mode. There’s other ways as well...

2 question: Do you own an MPC one? If yes, & you didnt know if you could sample sounds directly in, what exactly did you buy/get it for? Legit wondering?

you just need a jack to stereo trs. plug in the jack to any of your audio sources and hit record xD.

easiest is to just get an audio interface, as they already said. you need one anyway some day and they are dead cheap.
