They fixed the 'Assign Slice to Pad' bug and the MIDI 'Send to' bug.

No ,they didn't.
Only the 'non destructive part' where the slice now has the correct start end points.
With 'pad parameters ' if you go to program edit after assigning the slices ,there is a huge mess. If you also assign some pads with 'non destructive' along with other 'pad parameters' the first ones are gone.
Also the 'Send to' another internal track is not showing the routing ,although it works, when you copy a sequence

There's a bug when after working on a project for a while soloing the pad from the main screen would lead to OS crash on MPC Live. It exists since 2.7 and still it is not fixed. In 2.8 the MPC would reboot an you get a "recovered from internal error" message. In 2.9 OS just freezes and you have to reboot MPC manually.

Boring...

Been following this thread for the last week and it's always interesting to get different perspectives from different producers. I'm really loving this addition - it effectively turns my One into a neat little Techno groovebox!

I was initially apprehensive of the limited number of models, but after a bit of noodling around, I've found there to be enough flexibility for my needs. Was hoping the FM plugin would drop with this, but the Percussion section is a good holdover for me on that.

I can see why this feature falls flat for people who aren't pumping out dance music, but I'm grateful for sure! The One continues to be a really fantastic upgrade from the 1000 I'd been using for the last few years and I've been lucky enough not to encounter any bugs yet, so it's a net gain for me personally!
