Hi,

In the project I've been working on i get a fatal crash on ANY pad I try to flatten,
Flatten pad works ok on a new project but there is something about the project I'm on which causes a fatal crash.
I've tried saving and reloading all programs, purging unused samples but nothing seems to be able to get rid of this bug which means this project I've been working on for several months can't be used properly, any help MUCH appreciated :worthy:

Not sure what is causing the bug, but the workaround to flatten pad is to just use the sampler, i.e. set it to 'RESAMPLE' , set your threshold, arm and hit the pad and assign the resulting sample to a pad. Takes a bit longer, but works. In fact it's better than flatten pad in some ways, for example, flatten pad doesn't work with 'simultaneous play' layers.

Ok, thanks for the workaround tip, I wonder what the problem could be, I do have about a 1/4 of the memory full, quite a few 10 second samples ..hmmm

It's best to send the project to Akai for debugging since it sounds like a special case scenario

How does one do that if you don't mind me asking?

https://www.akaipro.com/support
or if you use the mpc software (and the same crash happens too in the software) you can click the icon on the bottom left to report a bug
