Sample Double Hit Problem Help!!

Im new to this web site man, me and a friend of mine have been making music on a MPC 4000 for like 3 years, Ive used a MPC 1000 for a few hours and maby it is a common user error but im not new to the MPC machine. I never said I was. every one just assumed that. I am new to the MPC 2000 but not the MPC and no other MPC I have used has ever had this "User Error" so I would rather just find out for sure,

its all good, were tryin to help u out. sending it out is a waste of money do to service and "repair". and then u got things like the shippin company damaging ur equipment.

Im not paying for any of it. The guy I got it from is a ebay store 2-11 music. He said he was gonna check it out and if something was wronge he would fix it if not he would send it back and either way he said he would pay the shiping but did you ever think it might be a common MPC 2000XL problem rather than a common MPC 2000XL user error cause really for how much MPC cost there should be no problem like that

no. its ur hands man. im not replying to this anymore. About 8 people told u that its a common problem from there experinces with a 2kxl. if u want to take our word-fine, if not then send it back. peace.

do what you will, but itll be a big waste of time

its not just the 2kxl, as all mpcs use same pads. have you tried hitting the pads with a stick, maybe an eraser end to a #2 pencil. see if bouncing the tips trigger double hits and see if hitting the pads differently causes different reaction.

I did the same thing. After a week or two I got used to it. It never happens now.

How could it be a 2KXL problem when everyone here doesn't have the problem after they have more experience with the machine?

You're wasting time posting here and hitting keyboard keys when you should be practicing hitting those pads.

it will not do it if I put my finger down and press but when I tap it fast and hard it does it
