Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By mushmouth Mon Jan 31, 2005 3:38 pm
Is it me or does the mpc1000 have a crisper/harsher sound to it??

I traded my mpc3000 for the 1000 but i notice my drum mixes no longer have that "warmth" to it. Has anyone else noticed this?

Are the A to D converters on the mpc2000 comparible to the 3000 cause I'm about ready to ditch the 1000 for a 2000.

First off... I know you didn't say you traded a 3K for a 1k!

Why did you get rid of the 3000 for the 1000?
I have a 2000Xl it's sound good, I have yet to hear a 1000 (and compare the two).
I can see the 1000 as a second MP, easy to travel with for ideas on the road.
It would be a good intro to the MPC world, to get familiar with the way they work.

LOL....oops, nah I actually got some extra cash to buy a Motif 7 too...

I write my beats and midi parts in Protools now (easier to edit my tracks in PT than the MPC3000) however, I really miss the sound that the 3000 produced.

So, how does the 2000 or 2000xl compare to the 3000 and 1000?? ...anyone?

do a search

did that from jump! The search results give me threads like 'look at my pimped out mpc", how do I record my mpc, how do i wipe my ass....etc

hard to get real questions and real answers, you know?
