hey man i just looked at the book, it appears to be that the feature(grip capture) is non existent?

Idk Ableton. Never heard of grip (grid?) capture. I can’t help.

Yes, if you play something nice but didn't record it you can hit SHIFT and RECORD and it will retrospectively add that performance to your sequence
