Technical questions for the MPC2000xl and the MPC2000
By nyst8 Tue Feb 01, 2005 10:48 pm
y'all rememebr a few years back they were giving out the MPC Bag(it was like a backpack with padding inside) when you bought the 2kxl......where can someone get one like that? anyone selling theirs? I was thinking if i didn't find one...I'd make my own(take one of thos ebig mailbag type backpacks and pad the inside so the MPC can fit...and then have a compartment for disks and headphones, any suggestions?

that's what I was thinkin....but it's harder to carry around the city than the backpack version......I know I can use the shoulder strap, but 12lbs+ is gonna start hurtin one's neck after a while...feel me?

Well, there's always the question......do you REALLY wanna carry an MP around NYC? I guess if you really really wanna get mugged it's all good, but..... :)

bought this one, it's essentially for carrying your drum sticks and stuff but works really well for the mpc 2k.
not the coolest looking bag ever, but good padding and sits good on your shoulder. fast delivery also that's always a plus

you're out in Denver, I guess your perception of NY is the outsider's perception......trust me, carrying a discreet black bag around here is nothing to get mugged over....plus the areas I live in/work in, safety isn't really a problem.

I use these. I've checked them into airplanes many times, and they've seen a lot of van time and gigging.
They are a good middle ground between durabilitiy and weight.
They're not as tough as some thicker wooden cases, but they're not as heavy either. If they can survive the airplane workers, they'll survive a lot.
