I pick up my MPC X a few days ago.

I come from the MPC 2KXL , 3000 and ASR 10 so Im not completely lost even though I find a few things a bit confusing.

Here's where I'm puzzled.

I sampled a break and in sample edit , I punched the pads for the Hats , snares and Kick I want to use.

Now I laid a Track with my Snare and Kick . All good here no issues

Created another track.

I then went back to sample edit, took the same sample with same pad cue points and convert it again as non destructive as a new program name and loaded it in the track and laid down a hi hat line but everytime the hi hat get triggered , its choking the snare and kick from track 1.

I dont understand what im doing wrong.

Any pointers would be appreciated.

Is that program monophonic? See PROG EDIT > program master section.

Yes it is Mono.

Is there a way to change it for all the pads to play Poly or do I have to do it for every pad and change it manually ?

Forget it, I found it. It change for all pads.

Thank you very much for the help, I was starting to have a headache .
