2.10 -Update broke my MPC One?

Hi all,
i just installed the new 2.10. update and now i even can't play the examples from start page anymore. It loads the samples but when i hit "play" i only hear short chopped sound bits and crackles.
Whats going on here?
Besides that how do i get the new synth addons to work without a computer? I have linux so i have to put updates and the synth folder onto a sd-card.
Help please

Make a system reset on preferences.
If it's still buggy, go back to 2.9 and then to 2.10 again.

The guy above me covered the part about resetting prefs. I wilk answer your linux question. You can install the mpc expansions and synth content under WINE. Then just copy it to your sdcard.

Once installed your stuff will be in /home/$USER/wine/drive_c/program data/akai.

I use linux as well and refuse to use windows for basically anything if i can help it.

Downgrade doesn't work. It asks me if i want to downgrade and seems to do it but after it comes alive again its still on 2.10 and still stutters.

There seems way for me to go back to 2.9. I tried with sd-card and i tried with update-software.
The MPC asks me if i want to downgrade, it seems to process it but after restart it is still on 2.10.

You inspired me to try the windows - update software via wine. Wasn't sucessful. The MPC-software doesn't detect the MPC although it is visible using lsusb.
Any idea?

setup a VM with windows in it, and then make sure to map the USB to the VM?
