Has anyone tried sequencing an ASR10/EPS16 with new mpc's?

Forgive me if this has been posted. I did a search. I know it's been asked numerous times for legacy models.. Seems it's not as easy with the newer models, in my case the mpcone as there is no option to turn off "soft thru="

Before the recent update, I managed to make it work ONCE but with phasing issues,I keep the same settings in the asr used with the xl. BUT with 2.10 THAT doesn't even work. The farthest I've gotten is recording midi data but without sounds being triggered upon playback. Just some pretty midi notes side scrolling.

Before anyone says " why not just sample thru asr into the mpcone" I do, but not that's what I'm trying to do right now, smart ass.

Sometimes ya need a break from touch screens and shift buttons and need to sharpen the ol rusty sword...which shall be done on the almighty slept-on asr sequencer

I've sequenced the ASR with the MPC Live without much issue. The ASR has to probably be set to "INST CHAN" so each instrument would go with the channel you select in each MPC track. I don't really understand what you're doing/ or trying to do. A phasing issue shouldn't be happening unless you're sending notes to the same instrument from several places.
