I got the MPC ONE today. I purchased it over Amazon. I plugged the power adapter in, I connected the USB adapter into my laptop, and I plugged my AKAI MPK MINI into it as well. I’m having trouble with a couple set up things though. I’m unable to hear any audio coming from the built in speakers. I thought maybe something was up with the audio but the volume is all the way up and I know audio is being played on the pads even though I can’t hear it. Everything is audible when I have headphones in but not when they’re out. I’ve tried unplugging the USB cables from my laptop and my MPK MINI and turning it on and off but no dice. I know it’s not because my MPC ONE is in controller mode because that’s my other problem. I have the latest firmware updated (2.10.1 I believe) and I have the MPV beats program on my laptop. When I click on the MPC to switching over to controller mode I’m stuck in that “Looking For Computer” screen. I’m able to use the pads in the MPC beats program but I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t be stuck in that “Looking For Computer” screen. I looked up solutions for this but can’t find a clear answer. I keep hearing that you need to update your firmware (which I already did) and you’re supposed to download and install the MPC ONE driver. I’m exactly sure what that is and how I’m supposed to go about downloading and installing it. I also keep getting a pop up for installing expansions for updates but I’m not sure how to do that. I just wanna get started but it’s not obvious how to do some things.
